A man was stabbed in the leg and another man was assaulted during an incident in Weston-super-Mare on Wednesday, and police are now hunting for ‘two black men with London accents’.

Police were called to Graham Road at 6.20pm after two men went into the nearby GP surgery with face and leg injuries.

A 38-year-old man suffered stab injuries to his legs. These injuries are not life-threatening.

A 41-year-old man suffered facial injuries after being assaulted.

A spokesman from Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: “The suspects for this offence are two black men, who arrived at the scene in a car. They are believed to have London accents.”
