Police beat team to move into Somerset school building

Sedgemoor District Council has given the police a green light to move into a former school building.

Cheddar beat officers from Avon and Somerset Constabulary will make a new home in the old finance building at Kings Of Wessex Academy, in Station Road.

The village’s police station closed its doors last year as the force looked to cut costs.
