POLICE are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a vulnerable Weston woman who has been missing for four days.
Jacqueline James, 44, from Sherwood Lodge in Severn Road, was last seen getting off a bus in the High Street at around 11am on Monday morning.
Police are concerned for her safety as she has known mental health problems and is on medication.
She is described as white, of fairly large build with short blonde curly hair. She is wearing black leggings, a white top with a pink and purple flower motif over an orange t-shirt, and a beige full-length suede effect coat with a furry collar.
Detective Inspector Leanne Pook, of Avon and Somerset police said: “I am asking bed and breakfast hotel owners, shopkeepers and the public to tell us immediately if they recognise Jacqueline or know where she is.
“I would also ask homeowners to check their outbuildings and sheds in case she has taken shelter somewhere overnight.”
Anyone who knows her whereabouts is asked to contact police in Weston on 0845 456 7000, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
