Police go bowling for Children in Need

SUPPORTERS of a large yellow bear aim to give police a difficult time this weekend.

SUPPORTERS of a large yellow bear aim to give police a difficult time this weekend.

Members of Weston Youth Bowling Club will be playing against police officers from Weston Police Station to raise funds for the BBC's Children In Need Appeal.

The clash will take place at Dolphin Bowl in Dolphin Square from 9.30am on Saturday.

The youngsters have been sponsored to beat the police and will be supported by Pudsey Bear.

This year's annual charity appeal, which raises funds for disadvantaged children and young people in the UK, will take place on November 16.
