Police have named a further 13 people who have been charged with supplying class A drugs, after a second consecutive day of dawn drug raids across Weston-super-Mare and Somerset yesterday (Wednesday).
Eight men and four women will appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday), charged with a total of 29 counts of supplying class A drugs.
A 15-year-old boy has also been charged with one count of supplying class A drugs and has been bailed to appear at North Somerset Youth Court.
The charges follow a nine-month-long investigation into the supply of drugs in Somerset, which culminated in two days of drug raids across Weston. These led to 53 arrests being made and 18 people have already been charged and appeared in court.
