GET 'sheducated' is the message to residents in North Somerset.Police officers have noticed a rise in the number of garages and sheds being broken into and are urging people to take steps to avoid becoming a victim of crime over the summer.Key targets for opportunist thieves include lawn mowers, gardening equipment, bicycles and power tools. In many cases proper locks have not been fitted to the sheds.Police have put together a crime prevention pack including an alarm, padlock, a warning sign and strong bolts. The pack, priced £32, is available from Weston and Nailsea Crime Reduction Units on 0845 456 700.
