Avon and Somerset Constabulary has released a CCTV image of two men after reports of ‘suspicious activity’ at a park in Weston-super-Mare.

At around 8pm on Monday, a member of the public saw a man indecently expose himself in Ashcombe Park. He was one of two men acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the offence.

Following the incident, which caused a stir on Facebook after a concerned mother shared her account of the incident, police have introduced additional patrols in the area.

Investigating officer PC Vinny Anthony said: “It’s important we identify the men in this CCTV image as they may be able to help us with our investigation.

“One man appears to be in his early twenties, while the second is in his fifties. They’re of Arabic or North African appearance and the man in his twenties was wearing a grey suit.

“This appears to be an isolated offence as we’ve not had any other reports of activity like this. I’d encourage anyone who thinks they may know the men in the image to call us immediately on 101 quoting reference number 5216164454.”
