A 'FLASHER' has been indecently exposing himself to women in a Weston town centre park this summer.Police are urging witnesses to come forward after a string of incidents involving a man stripping off in Grove Park over the past six months. The latest in the series of upsetting incidents happened on Friday when a man exposed himself to a woman who ran away and reported what had happened to the town council in Grove House. The matter was immediately passed on to the police but the woman ran away before Grove House employees could record her contact details.Police officers are now appealing for the woman to come forward and help them with their investigations, as they believe she may have information which could be vital to the case. There have been several other 'flashings' in the park during the course of the summer and officers are appealing for anyone else who has seen anything or has any information to come forward.PC Paul Budd, who is dealing with the case, said: "On August 3 between 12.45am and 1.30pm a man was spotted with his trousers around his ankles in Grove Park."The matter was reported but we need more information to help us with our enquires, especially the victim in this case or any other witnesses."We are regularly patrolling the park to reassure people walking through it, especially the top end, but it is a case of being in the right place at the right time."Anyone who has any information should call PC Budd on 0845 456 7000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
