POLICE are appealing for the help of the public to find a missing 'vulnerable' woman who may be in Weston.

Biyu Brown, aged 45, was last seen leaving the accident and emergency unit of the Royal United Hospital in Bath on November 16.

Care staff reported her missing later that day when she didn’t return to her flat in the city.

Bank records and CCTV images show Mrs Brown, a mother of two, using a cash machine in Weston on the same day and there has been no sign of her since then.

Det Sgt Peter Knight said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for her safety. She has mental health problems and does not have her daily medication with her, and as far as we know has nowhere to stay.”

She is described as Chinese, of medium build, with black greying hair swept back. She was wearing a light blue dress just below the knee, a cream cardigan and a long very light pink/beige coat. She was carrying a large red bag.

Anyone with information is asked to ring Bath CID on 0800 456 7000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
