POLICE in Somerset have warned they are staying vigilant against anti-social behaviour after a group of youths vandalised 10 cars in one night.

Vehicles along Jubilee Road in Axbridge had wing mirrors broken off and windscreens smashed with ‘for sale’ signs.

PCSO Julia Penn said offenders would be dealt with ‘robustly’ and that a gang of three or four people were thought to be responsible for the damage overnight between December 22 and 23.

She said two youths had been warned by police after riding motorbikes through the town without wearing crash helmets and the force were keen to spread a message about biker safety.
