A WESTON bar will have its licence reviewed today (Thurs) on the advice of the police.
Dragon Kiss, in Regent Street, may be forced to change its opening hours after Avon and Somerset Constabulary asked North Somerset Council to conduct a review.
The bar is currently allowed to stay open until 2.30am – with last orders 30 minutes before – but that could be changed by councillors at this morning’s meeting at Weston Town Hall.
It is not the first time that the bar has faced a licence review.
The Mercury exclusively reported in November that a man and a woman, believed to be customers, were caught on CCTV having sex in the kitchen during opening hours.
But December’s review was succesffuly appealed against because the council failed to follow procedures in publicising the meeting online.
