SHIPHAM will have a post office again as of tomorrow (Fri). The post office closed earlier this year but the service will be resumed on Tuesdays and Fridays in the village hall, in New Road, from 9am-1pm.

The post office closed earlier this year but the service will be resumed on Tuesdays and Fridays in the village hall, in New Road, from 9am-1pm.
Villagers have been travelling to Axbridge and Winscombe to pick up their pensions and do their banking since the former postmaster retired in March.
The old branch in Hollow Road is being sold by its owner, but the village hall will now host the service.
Sheryll Fudge, postmaster at Churchill, will be running the post office and splitting her time between the two branches.
