Pottery demo for festival

PEOPLE were encouraged to harness their creative talents this week and experiment with pottery.

Banwell Pottery in Worle invited members of the public to come and have a go at throwing clay and tackling the potter’s wheel.

On Tuesday, there was a demonstration on how to make colourful clay tiles, before visitors were allowed to have a go using traditional tile press and cutters.
