SCHOOLS in Somerset are without internet and email today after a power cut at County Hall.
Somerset County Council's headquarters in Taunton was shut down as phone lines, internet, email, website and electricity were all out.
Western Power is currently working on the problem and hope to have services up and running again by tomorrow (Thurs).
Emergency plans are in place for services but residents have been asked to restrict non-urgent calls.
Council leader Jill Shortland said: "We apologise for any inconvenience but thanks to our well rehearsed plans and the efforts of staff, disruption has been kept to a minimum.
