A WESTON theatre company is holding anti-bullying roadshows at schools across North Somerset.Actionwork began its tour on Monday at Worle Community School where members performed to 300 students and ran an interactive workshop.The tour follows on from the international anti-bullying conference held at the Winter Gardens last November and attended by stars such as Esther Rantzen.Actionwork director Andy Hickson said: "The students at Worle really got into the session and came up with some fantastic ideas for dealing with bullying." The workshop also included training for the teachers and follow-up plans to make sure the school keeps up the good work.Members of the theatre group have also held an anti-bullying session with all 80 staff at Wyvern Community School.Headteacher Andrew Russell said: "It was a thought provoking session which encouraged teachers to step outside their comfort zone in a very supportive environment."Andy Hickson is also planning to take a group of Weston teenagers to Japan. They will help run sessions to teach Japanese students about ways they could support each other.
