A PROJECT in Preanes Green has missed out on a cash injection of up to £80,000 - but one campaigner has vowed to keep trying to get it off the ground.
The resource centre in Feniton, off Clovelly Road, made it through to the final stages of the National Lottery's People's Millions but was pipped at the post by a Bristol-based project.
Volunteers at the facility, where community groups meet, wanted to build a community room and cycle safety workshop at the rear but they need more money to achieve their goal.
Resource centre coordinator Linda Ruffles said: "We are very disappointed but I won't quit.
"If anyone can help us with this project or can just give us some materials, we would be grateful."
If anyone can help they can call the resource centre on 01934 529733.
