A YOUNGSTER from St Georges has made it into a prestigious musical organisation.

Rosie Sewell, aged 11, has just found out that she has become a member of the National Youth Choir.

The youngster, who auditioned in November for a place, has already passed grade three singing with a distinction and has just sat grade four and is awaiting the results.

Rosie, a pupil at The Downs School in Wraxall, learns to sing with Ann Clewlow in Weston and also plays piano, treble recorder and cello.
