COLD callers should be a thing of the past for residents in one Yatton street.
A no cold calling zone has been created in Stowey Park with the aim of preventing distraction burglars and rogue traders knocking on people’s doors.
It has been set up by PCSOs Elle Hicks and Kate Turner following an attempted distraction burglary in the street and a number of nuisance callers.
They are now in the process of setting up a further two zones in Well Lane and Hawthorn Crescent.
