YOUNG volunteers have been giving up their time to help a Worle school.

The Weston Prince’s Trust team has been lending a hand at Mendip Green Primary School in Greenwood Road.

Work carried out by the team has included the refurbishment of two shipping containers used for storing sports and play equipment, with the aim of making them more attractive.

It is one of several projects being carried out by Prince’s Trust volunteers in Weston, after they also painted murals on the new YMCA building on the Bournville estate.

The Prince’s Trust helps teenagers by providing them with practical and financial support, and also by helping them to develop new skills ready for working life.
