UNRULY youths will continue to be stopped from gathering in groups in part of Weston.
The Maltlands in Locking Castle has become a magnet for antisocial behaviour in the last couple of years with youngsters hanging around drinking alcohol and causing criminal damage to residents' properties near the park.
Last September a dispersal order was placed on the area, which stopped large groups gathering there and another was implemented earlier this year.
But that order runs out tomorrow (Fri) and a new one will take its place.
The latest order will run until January 6 and will cover the areas bounded by the nearby railway lines, Flowerdown Bridge and Locking Moor Road.
Last week the Weston & Somerset Mercury revealed how the fencing around The Maltlands' play area had been broken beyond repair.
Two youths have been arrested in connection with incident and have been released on bail.
The police will reassess the situation before the current order runs out to see if another one needs implementing.
