A BURGLAR who rides a purple bike tried to sell a pub its own stock after stealing it from the cellar.The man entered the kitchen area of a pub in Weston, took keys to the cellar and stole two cases of lager and a crate of soft drinks. He was later seen inside the bar where he attempted to sell the drinks back to pub staff. When they declined, he went back to the cellar and made off with yet more drinks. Police are now trying to identify the man, who they believe arrived at the pub on a purple bicycle.He is white with short dark hair, slightly balding and was wearing a blue denim style jacket, checked jumper and blue jeans.
