BOSSES at a Weston pub have been told they cannot put an enclosed seating area at the front of their South Parade site.
Enterprise Inns, which owns The Imperial, wanted to put glazed structures in but this week the planning application was turned down by the local authority's planning department.
The company says the proposed enclosed area, which would also have included a canopy, was necessary for customer's safety as the pub fronts onto a road.
The local authority turned down the application on Monday.
