A doctor’s surgery which cares for thousands of patients has been praised by a Government watchdog.
Pudding Pie Lane Surgery, in Langford, has received a ‘good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The surgery, which is run by Mendip Vale Medical Practice, has improved since a 2017 report deemed it required improvement – and it is now reaching good standards across the board.
CQC inspector Steve Field wrote: “At the inspection we found the practice had responded and implemented a programme of improvement and the concerns previously found had been rectified.”
Mendip Vale’s executive manager David Clark said: “The whole team have worked incredibly hard in ensuring services are well placed to provide safe and effective care for our 44,000 patients across North Somerset.”
