A CLEVEDON pupil who was taken to hospital with suspected meningococcal meningitis has now been released.
The 14-year-old boy from Clevedon Community School was being treated at Bristol Children's Centre after he was taken ill at the end of January.
Family members and a small group of youngsters in the boy's class were treated with antibiotics to reduce the risk of them developing the disease, but the Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that no further cases of the disease had been reported.
