YOUNGSTERS from the Wedmore area will be making themselves heard at a children's parliament this month.
Pupils from Hugh Sexey Middle School in Blackford will join students from 25 other Somerset schools to speak on topics they are passionate about.
The young people from Sedgemoor will be able to speak for five minutes in front of a panel of politicians and education chiefs. Suggested topics revolve around the theme of 'health' and include school, community and planet.
The youngsters taking part will gather in Taunton on March 28 for the event, which also includes an address from Wells Constituency MP David Heathcoat-Amory who represents Axbridge, Cheddar and Wedmore.
