Free fitness classes will be run at two Worle schools to help children become interested in exercise at an early age.

Community group Big Worle is funding Sweet Result Fitness, run by Mark Sweeting, to hold the classes at Becket Primary School and Priory Community School.

Mark said: “Our ethos is the remove barriers to exercise by making it fun and easy to access for everyone.

“We want to increase participation in physical activity among young people by offering alternatives to traditional team sports or the gym.”

Priory students’ workout will combine dance, combat training and yoga and Becket’s pupils will take part in classes alongside their parents.
