A LITTER of puppies was taken from a stable just outside Locking and owners are appealing for the publics help to get them all back.

Seven of the 11 baby mastiff dogs have been returned, but three are still missing.

The young dogs were taken from Missy and Hooch overnight earlier this month, and most of them were recovered from addresses on the Bournville estate last week.

However, four of the eight-week-old puppies, including one bitch pup, are still missing.

Owner Roy Page, who had been planning to sell the litter, said: "I had already lined up buyers before they were stolen.

"I would ask anyone who has been offered the remaining four tan-coloured puppies to contact the police."

Each puppy is worth is around £250, according to the 41-year-old.

Anyone who has been offered puppies matching the description above can call police on 0845 456 7000.

A person has been charged with theft and released on bail pending further police investigations.
