VISITORS to Puxton Park enjoyed tasty treats as part of National Barbecue Week.

The attraction’s owners also marked the occasion by arranging for a number of unusual visitors to greet guests.

A 12ft Burmese python as well as a number of spiders and lizards called the park home for three days.

Last year there were around five million barbecues held nationally during the week-long promotion, which aims to encourage people to barbecue more often.
