A group of artists showcased their best work at an exhibition in the Old Town Quarry last weekend.
The Quarry Artists displayed a wide variety of their work in the Rowan Tree Tea Room in the quarry, in South Road.
The event followed the success of an open studio day last year.
Artist Jack Hicks said: “The event was really well attended, despite the interchangeable weather.
“It was really surprising how many people really took an interest and there was a great atmosphere.
“We had about 250 people visit us at the opening on Sunday and everyone was really enthusiastic about the art.”
The exhibition will remain open until May 11 and is open 10.30am–4.30pm from Wednesday to Sunday.
