The annual event, which took place at The Campus in Locking Castle on Sunday, was a steaming success, with both numbers and proceeds up on last year.

Weston Hospicecare will benefit from the proceeds and organiser Keith Price is already planning next year’s event.

He said: “It grows every year and I’ve already booked The Campus for January 15 next year.

“People really seem to enjoy it and we had about 150 to 160 people queuing up before we opened this time.”

Weston’s mayor Councillor Phil Judd officially opened the event and also awarded the best layout prize.
