RNLI Volunteers have raced into the New Year

PEOPLE can lose a few unwanted pounds post-festive season while helping raise some pounds for a vital Weston charity.

Weston RNLI’s crew is urging its supporters to take on a physical challenge which will not only benefit the group but will also help kick start their New Year healthy living regime.

The organisation is the official charity for this year’s Bath Half Marathon and Weston’s Tough Ten Challenge, and the crew is asking people to sign up to one of these events.

Pete Holder, Weston RNLI operations manager, said: “We’re challenging people to use the start of a New Year to set themselves a goal and raise some funds for the RNLI, and if it’s a physical challenge then we have two fantastic ones to choose from.”
