PHOTOGRAPHERS got up close to foxes, owls and other animals at an event at Secret World.

The animal charity held a photography event and people got to capture a number of majestic animals on camera.

Pel Cosby submitted some wonderful shots of the wildlife centre’s charming foxes in East Huntspill.

Regular iwitness contributor Jackie Caven also took some time away from Weston-super-Mare and visited Ashton Court, in Long Ashton.

She spotted a group of deer and photographed them in the autumn mist.

Debbie Bishop got her photography timing just right when snapping a cheeky squirrel hoarding a conker.

Another star iwitness member, Terry Kelly, submitted a sequence of crystal-clear images of a spider’s web after taking an early morning walk in Weston.
