Joe Huntley, senior animal supervisor at the tourist attraction, is on the shortlist for the day maker of the year prize at the National Farm Attraction Network (NFAN) awards.

The wildlife enthusiast, who starting working at the park in 2014, ‘has played an enormous role in steering the vision and future of Puxton’s efforts to promote farming’, according to a spokesman.

Joe said: “I am truly humbled by this award nomination. I am excited and honoured to be involved in the conference and awards ceremony this month and I look forward to meeting others who share our passion for animals and agriculture.”
