Recovery walk returns to Weston

WESTON'S second recovery walk will take place this weekend, with entertainment and a walk through the town.
The Live Love Walk event took place in Weston for the first time last year as an afternoon of celebration and gratitude.
It has again been organised by the North Somerset Recovery Network (NSRN) who were formed to promote recovery from addiction and other mental health disorders.
The event takes place in the Town Square on Saturday from 11am, with the walk beginning at noon.
There will be entertainment all afternoon, including live music, children’s activities, speakers, stalls and a raffle.
An NSRN spokesman said: “We believe that by celebrating successes we will encourage more people to seek the help they need in order to get recovery themselves.
“We believe that these activities will also help reduce the stigma that comes with addiction and mental health disorders.”
