People in Weston-super-Mare, and across North Somerset, are being advised to leave their recycling out today (Saturday), if their recent collections have been missed.

North Somerset Council has organised for eight recycling crews to make their way across the district in order to catch up on any missed collections.

It has put the backlog down to last week’s heatwave and assures the public it will catch up.
