A WESTON woman who says she wanted to face the advancing years with good humour has started a new group in town.
A WESTON woman who says she wanted to 'face the advancing years with good humour' has started a new group in town.
Susan Shaw of Locking Road has launched a chapter of the Red Hat Society so females can get together and 'focus on fun, friendship frivolity and sisterhood'.
The Red Hatters were formed in 1998 in America and members meet up in the mandatory red hat and purple clothes for women over 50 and pink hats and lilac clothes for the rest.
At the moment the Weston branch meets up for meals or coffee but is open to new ideas for activities. It is currently looking for new members. For more details call Susan on 01934 413510 or email susanndshaw@hotmail.com
