Colleagues from a Weston firm have pledged to raise £1,000 for charity by taking part in the Bubble Rush.

Debbie Beech, Urszula Klepacka, Sophie Holder, Sian Collins, Sharon D’Arcy and Steph Hurne from the Regency Purchasing Group have signed up to the 5km fundraiser for Weston Hospicecare which is being held at Apex Park in Burnham on Saturday.

The event starts in a sea of bubbles and features four bubble stations along the route where fundraisers will be covered in more foam.

Steph said: “The Bubble Rush seems like a really fun way to spend time together and raise money for Weston Hospicecare at the same time.

“Cancer has touched many people’s lives, and Weston Hospicecare’s services are really vital in supporting both the patients and their families through their journey, so we are keen to raise as much as we can to help.”

Online registration has now closed but you can register from 10.30-11.45am on the day.
