A REIKI master teacher from Somerset is looking for people or pets to take part in some clinical trials.
Mick Norton, aged 55, of Lower Weare, believes he can help rid any patient - animal or vegetable - of physical or emotional distress.
He has had treated many patients, ranging from humans with asthma or fevers to wilting willow bushes and poorly terrapins.
Mick is now looking for a group of people, animals or plants with similar conditions to carry out clinical trials so the practice can be recognised as a legitimate treatment.
He hopes to perform reiki sessions on half the group to show what a difference it can make.
