MARRIED couples can pick up tips on how to keep the romance alive, sex advice and the importance of communicating at a marriage enrichment course.

Kevin and Mandy Wood, from St Paul's Church in Weston, have been running the course for five years now and also started up a marriage preparation course last year for couples about to tie the knot.

The enrichment course will be held on three Saturdays at St Paul's Church in Walliscote Road.

The first two sessions will be held on October 20 from 10.30am-3.45pm, followed by two more on November 3 at the same time. The last two workshops will be held on November 17 from 11.30am-4.45pm.

Topics include, building strong foundations, the art of communication, resolving conflict, the power of forgiveness, good sex and love in action.

The course, priced £6 per day, is based on Christian principles, but all are welcome to attend.

Mandy said: "People don't have to be experiencing problems to come on the course, it's about picking up some tips on how to make your marriage stronger.

"The course is aimed at helping and encouraging marriages to flourish in a world where marriages are increasingly under pressure and failing more frequently."

The course will include a talk, video clips and exercises where couples can talk to each other about their feelings.

Sessions also include a meal and people must have been married for at least two years to take the course. To book a place call Kevin and Mandy on 01934 621701.
