A VILLAGE’S only public toilets will be taken over by its parish council, meaning the under-threat conveniences will definitely remain open.
The Mercury reported last month how Bleadon could lose its public toilets in Coronation Road as part of North Somerset Council’s cutbacks.
Now, the parish council has confirmed it will definitely take on the toilets and run them itself, subject to being able to meet the legal fees involved in the handover.
