KEWSTOKE Parish Council wants to create a lasting memory of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Councillors have been asked by chairman Tony Horry to return to the September meeting with suggestions for how they would like to mark the occasion.

Ideas already mooted include a plaque, tree planting or putting a bench on the village green.
