PART-TIME soldiers who work at Weston General Hospital marked the annual Armed Forces Day this week.
The Territorial Army reserves wore their uniform for a day to show their support for the event last Saturday.
Among them were hospital divisional manager David Thomas, emergency department clinical services manager Stuart Sullivan and consultant radiologist Dr Chris Cook.
Director of workforce and corporate services, Alison Kingscott, said: “We were pleased to allow those staff who wished, and for whom it was appropriate to wear their TA uniforms for the day.
“The trust is keen to support its staff in their external commitments to other forms of public service and also keen to support our armed forces, particularly as we approach their special day.”
