NEW recycling banks are being installed across North Somerset before Christmas to encourage residents to dispose of their waste responsibly.
A total of five will be put in place by North Somerset Council before Christmas Day, at the following sites:
> Tesco car park off Alexandra Parade, Weston.
> Somerfield car park in High Street, Yatton.
> Clevedon Road car park in Nailsea.
> Waitrose in Harbour Road, Portishead.
> Winscombe, behind the Woodborough Inn.
These sites have been selected because visitors will also be able to recycle food and drink cartons at the same time.
Residents are asked to look for a triangular label on packaging to see which bank any rubbish should be placed in.
