CARERS from across North Somerset enjoyed a spot of respite.

Eight young helpers took a break from their normal domestic duties to spend a day out at Goblin Coombe valley and woods.

Weston-based charity, Crossroads Care, which helps carers receive support, organised the event which was made possible thanks to Somerset Freemasons group which provided a mini-bus and driver free of charge for the day out.
