Emergency service vehicles will be on display on the Beach Lawns in Weston-super-Mare as part of the RNLI’s annual 999 day.

The Weston RNLI station is hosting the event on Sunday from 11am-4pm, and will have its flood rescue boats on show.

Fire engines, the Weston hovercraft and fire tender from Bristol Airport will also be on display.

The Great Western Air Ambulance will fly in at noon.

Lifeboat operations manager Charlotte Conroy said: “This event attracts a lot of attention as it gives the public the opportunity to see the emergency services up close.

“As well as the emergency vehicles and their crews there are many historic displays plus fun for all the family.”
