AN AIR ambulance has been called to Worle this afternoon to attend the scene of a medical emergency.

The helicopter landed in Cabot Way just after 3pm after it was called to reports that an elderly man had collapsed at his home, just off Queensway.

Police have closed Cabot Way, both ways, while the critical care ambulance crew attend to the patient.
