WORK will begin on Monday to resurface a busy road through Wraxall.

WORK will begin on Monday to resurface a busy road through Wraxall.

The B3130 Bristol Road between Treetops and Hazel Farm will be resurfaced and some kerb repairs will also be carried out.

The footway on the opposite side of the road to Wraxall Hill will also be resurfaced and a small highway drainage investigation will take place at the Ball Lane junction.

The kerb, footway and drainage works will take about three weeks to complete and during this time there will be temporary traffic lights.

However, the resurfacing needs to be carried out under a temporary road closure. This will take place from February 15-19.

In the hope of minimising disruption, North Somerset Council has told residents that work will only take place between 8am-5pm on weekdays and 8am-1pm on Saturdays.
