TWO major roads in Brent Knoll will be out of action for several weeks.
Burton Row will be shut from February 11 to March 28 and Brent Street will be closed from March 31 for approximately 10 weeks.
Both roads are being shut for works to the sewer piping under the streets.
District councillor for the village, Bob Filmer, said: "Burton Row has had lots of problems with flooding, especially during the latest heavy rains in January.
"If the sewer work is successful, hopefully the flooding problem will finally be sorted out.
"When there is a heavy storm the sewers back up and it is not very pleasant.
