North Somerset Council’s contractors are starting the work Monday, depending on the weather.

The roads being treated include Orchard Drive in Sandford, Orchard Close in Banwell, Lawrence Road and South Meadows in Wrington and The Ridge and Westaway Park in Yatton.

The roads to be resurfaced in Weston are Claremont Crescent, Furze Close, Hobart Road, Walliscote Road South, Hill Road, Hill Road East, Vale Crescent, and New Church Road.

North Somerset’s executive member with responsibility for highways Elfan Ap Rees said: “We’ll do everything we can to keep disruption to a minimum.”
