Road off A370 between Congresbury and Yatton to close for roadworks

A key road between two large North Somerset villages will shut for roadworks tonight (Thursday).

Smallway, which runs from the A370 in Congresbury to the bottom of Yatton High Street, will be shut by North Somerset Council tonight.

The closure will begin at 8pm but the road is due to be reopened by 6am tomorrow morning (Friday).

The road’s surface will be tackled and it will prepare the area for further roadworks in early July.

North Somerset Council is carrying out £800,000 of road repairs in the coming weeks.
